Energy economic model is an essential policy tool for evaluating and predicting the macroeconomic impacts of energy-related policies. The goal of this study is to analyze and forecast the influence of the change of oil prices on macroeconomic variables, industrial production, and the demand and supply of energy using energy-macroeconomic model. The result showed that excessively energy-consuming industries had the decreasing growth rate of industrial production compared with other ones. Similar picture was drawn in the use of petroleum products due to their direct relations with oil prices. Especially, there was a decline in kerosene consumption compared with the previous year. The main culprit could be the availability of city gas or anthracite coal as an option for kerosene. Other findings were that the increase of oil prices had the biggest impacts on consumer price index among variables except energy-related ones and that the balance of current accounts was in the longest influence of the increase of oil prices._x000D_
에너지-거시경제모형은 에너지 관련 정책의 거시경제적 파급효과를 예측하고 관련 정책을 수립하며 평가하는 데에 필수불가결한 정책도구이다. 본 연구는 에너지-거시경제모형을 구축하여 유가의 변동이 거시경제변수 및 산업생산, 그리고 에너지 수급에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 알아보고, 유가상승에 따른 제 변수의 변동을 예측하고 그 영향을 평가하는 데 목적이 있다. 기준모형 기반의 각 변수 예측 결과에서 고유가 발생시, 에너지 다소비 산업에서 산업생산 증가율 둔화 현상이 여타 산업보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 유가와 직접적인 관계에 있는 석유제품의 사용량 둔화가 현저하게 나타났다. 특히, 등유는 전년 대비 사용량이 감소함을 보였는데, 이는 난방 원료의 대체 수단인 도시가스와 무연탄으로의 수요 이동을 의미한다. 파급효과 분석 결과, 에너지관련 변수를 제외한 변수들 중 유가의 파급효과가 가장 클 것으로 전망된 변수는 소비자물가지수이며, 경상수지에 대한 유가상승의 파급효과가 가장 오랫동안 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
