As one of the solutions for securing spinning reserves, the interests of distributed generation (DG) are increasing. This study examines the necessity of distributed generation and its relative economics compared to Demand Side Management (DSM). It also investigates the current status of Community Energy System (CES) and the obstacles for expanding the CES. In addition, it suggests the policy considerations for promoting the CES.
적정 전력예비력 확보를 위한 대책으로 거론되는 대안 가운데 분산형 전원(Distributed Generation)에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 분산형 전원의 필요성과 수요관리 프로그램과의 상대적인 경제성을 살펴본다. 또한 분산형 전원으로서 구역전기사업 제도의 현황과 추진상의 장애요인을 검토한다. 이와 함께 구역전기사업 제도의 활성화를 위한 정책적 고려사항을 제시한다.
